The small things

All of my exams for the time being are now over and dealt with = no huge stress all the time! Such a relief... But hey, since I changed the language into English from Finnish just for the sake of the exams do you want me to change it back? If there are no comments on the matter I'll just keep writing in English and might occasionally change into Finnish. Writing in either is not a problem and I really don't mind writing in either language.

Odd color
I noticed that I haven't had any time to actually take good pictures with my "new" hair color. I have a few days off from school so now I'm trying to accomplish a few decent pictures for you guys. Amazingly my hair is growing out at the speed of light compared to the snail-like-slowness it grew a while back. Sure it's a good thing in that sense that I really want to grow out my hair (it hasn't been long in almost 6 years), but this also means roots.... ROOTS, ROOTS & MORE ROOTS!!!! For a week it didn't look bad that my naturally rather dark brown hair was starting to show up but now that my roots are starting to really show it's getting extremely annoying. I'll try to maintain my desire to get rid of them by bleaching my hair (because I have killed it again and it needs rest), but soon it will happen. I did think of changing the color too (not to the pale pink). I miss my blue hair.... ;--; so much! It wouldn't be a huge hassle to get it either from this color. Before I get to that I'll need to up my current color because it is fading away quick and the color of it now is not a real pink but some odd orangeish/pinkish mix. Might turn this into a bright ass red while re-dying this as I'm deep-conditioning.
I guess we'll just have to wait and find out what happens next! :'D

Enough about the hair for now. This week I found a few little things that are, for me, just fun to have in case I feel inspired by something. I got this ridiculously pink and fluffy pen from my mom as a joke and I wasn't planning on ever using it to anything, but then I found and old notebook that my sister had used a long time ago which was still almost empty. I took the pages out that my sister had used and stacked them safely into the other school crap she still has "at home" (here and not where she actually lives now days). Thinking I'd always find use for empty notebooks I brought it downstairs and sure enough I immediately found it useful!
A notebook where to write all things that inspired me during a day so that I won't forget them when I need inspiration! Might sound stupid, unnecessary and ridiculous to some, but for me having a notebook like that is useful. Though it might not seem that way, my imagination is wild and untamed, flying freely where ever it likes when ever it likes. From sadness and death to sunshine and rainbows, switching for one to another faster than I can sometimes keep up should I try to just remember it all.
So a little notebook that isn't heavy or space consuming is a  fantastic weapon to keep my thoughts alive so that one day when I don't know what to write about to or to do I have dozens of ideas just waiting to emerge into this life. And just for the kicks I decided to try and write everything to that notebook with that thing I should call a pen. Makes it funner looking while swinging out this huge pink fluff.
Oh and I'm back into gaming now..... Gah my passion for games woke up just before my math exam and now I seriously need some new games. Letting out all the crap in my head to Flyff is getting tiring... XD
And I need new clothes.... I have a list of things I should go and try on/buy but I'm too lazy to get my ass to Oulu in order to get all the new stuff I need. *sigh* I have to get a grip by the start of next week.

Alrighty then~ I guess that's about it and I'll see you next week!!! If I happen to post a new vid this weekend I'll try and mention it here before next week. : )

Bye <33

Corner

So here we are, a day late from the usual but I guess this is better than not updating at all this week. : D

Now my English matriculation exams are over but next week starts the normal "exam week" so math test will be coming up soon... Yay! : D

This week I finally did it.... I dyed my hair pink! And even though it's not an even color at all (rather looks like I'd have 2 colors in my head) it's very bright, very attention attracting and pink. : D I am of course a little bit sad that the color isn't even and it sure is not a cupcake pink but a freaking neon pink, so not quite what I was planning. : D I'm thinking that when I get enough roots I'll strip the color from my hair and then probably re-dye my hair and aim to get it the color as I originally wanted it to be. : D

Let the bar story begin!!!!!

Let's move on to even funner things! Yesterday I went to a bar for the first time. : D I know most of my readers are from Finland but just to clear things up the legal age of drinking here is 18 (though you can't buy bottles of stronger alcohol until the age of 20). Most bars and clubs are R20 but a few you can get into when you're only 18.
It's a custom here (or at least among everyone that I know) that the day you turn 18, whether it maybe in the middle of the week or not, you'll go to a bar and have a few drinks. Now, I'm not the bar/clubs kinda girl mostly because social encounters are not my thing and I still have a level of fear for people under the influence. I skipped out on going to a bar when I turned 18 (almost 6 months ago) but made a promise to go when my friend Kata turned 18. So..... She turned 18 on Wednesday and on Friday I was able to gather up my courage and go.
Our initial plan was to go to a nightclub, Dione, which is just your usual club where the younger adults go. As much as I like dancing and music I just feel awkward when in a party of any sort where you have loads of young adults drunk (and for some messed up reason I feel a lot more comfortable when actual adults are drunk). I thought that well it's a first time for everything and I shouldn't be so judgmental even before I've ever been to one, so I'll just give it a go and if it doesn't turn out well for me I'll just leave.
I don't know if it was lucky or not but the lines to the club were so long and it was really cold outside that me and Kata decided to go somewhere else. We circled around Oulu for about an hour wondering where we could get into. Finally we ended up in a bar, more a like a pub, called "Kulma" or "Kuluma" (which is the actual name of the place) = Corner in English.  I had heard a lot about the place from my dad and he has always told me that me and him must go there together some time because the place is just great! Which it really turned out to be! I fell in love with it! <3
The place looked a bit like the pub I visited in London back in 2011. A lot of people inside, rather loud music and just overall an easygoing feel. Making the place a hundred times better was that the bartenders and the bouncer were mighty handsome and kind. ; )
Of course we had to have the cliche "Cosmopolitans" there... And we also had a cider and then just before we left we had the awesome drinks called "Rammstein"(just like the band). Now that's a real drink. I mean wow. Actually I'd say the whole drink is more about the performance that the bartenders do as they make the drink. Most of the light in the whole place are dimmed down, they put on a song by Rammstein (obviously), light up the alcohol in flames and breath fire before they pour the liquor in the strawberry smoothie. And to top that all the drink it self doesn't taste half bad. ; )
Oh and we also met a Finnish celebrity (a comedian/actor)  there, called Jukka Rasila! We even took a picture with him just before we left. : D
A very, very cool (sarcasm) drink! : D

There is another drink they light up, I have no idea what the name of it is, but in that one they make a whole bottle burn! If you'd like to see that one too, there's a video on YouTube of that one also. : D

A fantastic night!!!! <3

And lucky me no hangover! ; D (we did drink more than just that...XD)

That's about it for this week. A nice update mostly about going to a bar.... XD Hope you don't mind!

I'll see you next week with hopefully a plan for a new video!

Byeee! <3

No last words

I'm just going to speed through this update. At first I didn't even plan on updating today and thought about just skipping to next week. Well turns out I have plans for next weekend too so I'll just do this now.

So everything feels like it's speeding by at the speed of light. I changed the order in my room last Saturday for the first time in a year (feels so freaking weird), I got my long awaited shoes on Tuesday and absolutely no progress in the hair division (still haven't obtained the silver toner).

A minor set back with the hair dye. I'm hoping that finally at the latest I'll be able to get my hair pink on Wednesday. Damn it all.... I really wanted to have my lovely pink hair by now. : < Oh well... I guess I have to wait for a while more.

All and all nothing miraculous or anything very interesting has happened, so to spare time I'll just spam you guys with pictures and music. : DDD I'm hoping to be able to properly update in a few weeks, though I don't have any dates for you to wait on.

Om nom nom nom nom nom <3

Oh hell yes!!! Movie night!!!  <3
Got a new mirror with lights <3
Some OOTDs from this week

*shivers* such a good song!

Alright... no more spamming! : D

See you soon!!!! <3

Bye!! <3

P.s I'm seriously sorry I have to make this so short! : <

Good comes to those who wait

My English matriculation exams are closing in and pressure is getting worse and worse by the day. I really need to get a good grade! I really, really do!

*krhm* let's just move on from that shall we?
*random music post*

Like always school is just too much of a boring subject to go on and on about so why don't we just go straight to the part about how my hair project is going and what happened to my dream shoes, naturally including some random stuff here and there too.

Let's start with my hair, because well..... it has changed rather drastically during this week. So like you all know (hopefully know) my goal is to get my hair pink/pastel pink. Since I did start off with having black hair, obviously obtaining pink hair is not the simplest task there is.
To get to my goal I've had to make sacrifices in both money and hair. Obviously buying hair dyes costs quite a lot and the damage inflicted to the hair from multiple bleaching is not to be laughed at. Total times of stripping color with color-remover/strong-ass-bleach: 3, total times of actually using just normal bleach: 1. So total of 4 very, very damaging phases. Thank god for my hair being uniquely strong, and thanks to that it hasn't yet fallen off, but I am not going to even try to say "my hair is totally fine". It is not. Luckily I knew this was going to happen and I prepared myself for this. I ordered some very strong repair products to get my hair back in business and I also did cut my hair a bit after all the torture I did to it.
So what happens next? Is my hair blond/white enough to put in the pink yet? The answer to that is NO. I still need to get the yellow color out of my hair and I'm waiting to get my silver toner in the mail. After the silver toner though, whether my hair is pale enough or not I will put in the pink (getting tired of this hassle).
The dye I hopefully will get to use soon...

Next up are the shoes, or rather what I ended up doing. Like I already told you in the last post, my shoes never did arrive and I was infuriated by this. After calming down a little, many hours latter, I decided that I wouldn't give up. I searched the internet for about 5-7 hours for a website that would sell the shoes here in the EU that wouldn't cost me more than 200€. I did almost give up a coupe of times but then a miracle happened an I found a webstore that is based in Ireland. The shoes were there at the price of 169€ (15 cents more than the ones I ordered from Denmark).
Of course I took the offer immediately and the shoes should arrive at the latest next week. I can't wait to finally get them! It's been such a long wait for me.

Autumn and winter are approaching, which means warmer clothing will be needed outside. I'm starting to knit again at a crazy phase. I already knitted my sister a scarf and yesterday I made a beanie for myself to match a scarf I made a while back. Knitting is just so stress free for me that it's just a joy to do.
Do leave a request if you need a scarf or a beanie or socks or mittens... XDDDD

That's about it for this week, hopefully I will be able to update next week normally (can't promise because well.... the exam is a bit more important than this for me at this moment of life).
Here's a yummy picture of some steamed goodies I ate yesterday...oh and some good music from Finland!!! SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!! <3

P.S EVERYONE MUST WATCH GOKUSEN!!! <3

BYE!!
